Gran's Bread Board

from £59.99

Made to order possible leadtime

Based on a classic Victorian design, we have yet to meet someone who doesn’t remember or have a relative using one similar to this.

Oak (Quercus alba) is one of the naturally anti-bacterial timbers. We have added to this by coating our boards with a food safe oil and wax mix making them suitable for knifework.

It can equally be used for cutting bread, carving a roast, serving some cheese or as a butterboard. Medium boards are approximately 10 inches (250mm) in diameter. Large boards are approximately 12 inches (300mm) in diameter, both are approximately 3/4 of an inch (20mm) thick.

As a natural product no two pieces of wood are the same. Consequently the grain and possible knots will vary from the images shown

Not suitable for dishwashers or microwaves and don’t submerge in water. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth and a mild detergent if necessary. Dry straight away.
